I Scream for Ice Cream!
Ice Cream for Eight Dollars is a simple vibrant clicker where you are tasked with serving children the ice cream they desire. Every child approaches your parlor with one thing in mind: what ice cream they want. Click on the correct flavor, and they'll leave happy.
Getting the Right Scoop
 • My first steps towards reinventing and honing my voice as an artist as I continue to explore my education at the University of Southern California.
 • Theming based on dichotomy between two extremely contrasting tones—a kid-friendly ice cream parlor and an intense hate crime that occurs just outside.
Spoon-fed Secrets & Gameplay
 • Practiced my love for secret design by building complex puzzles with information built off of existing in-game mechanics and messages outside of gameplay.
 • Established a sense of comfort and sensitivity when working with voice actors and writing a script based on a hate crime against a LGBTQ+ person.
 • Tackled mixing and recording software to best design the audio landscape with the challenge of dialogue being purely heard and never seen.
